Rita Arez Romão

Co-founder at CATCH, Global Marketing.

With more than 15 years’ experience in Marketing and Communication, she started her career in Product Marketing in the new technologies sector, for Minitel, Society of IT Applications, working with market leading international brands.

A new challenge led her to the Lusitania Insurance Company, Montepio Group, where during 11 years she led the Communication, Image and Institutional Relations department. The APCE (Portuguese Association for Business Communication) distinguished some of the projects in which she was project leader, such as: Corporative Magazine (Honorary Mention APCE2013), Film 25 years (Honorary Mention APCE2013), Online Game Safe Journey (First Prize for Excellency APCE2011 and the Prize Prata Sapo), Corporative Site (First Prize for  Excellency APCE2011), Communication strategy for the section Sea of the Insurance company and creation of a Corporative Identity (Honorary Mention APCE2011), Internal Web letter (Honorary Mention 2011), Communication for the Museum of Gold Numismatics (First Prize for Excellency APCE2011) to name a few.

Rita holds a Degree in Business Communications from the Institute of Business Communication and Marketing (ISCEM); and a postgraduate degree in Communication and Social Media, at the Catholic University of Portugal.
